The Australian dollar strengthened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.
The Australian dollar rose to a 4-day high of 91.89 against the yen, from yesterday’s closing value of 91.70.
The aussie edged up to 1.4996 against the euro, from yesterday’s closing value of 1.5027.
Against the U.S. and the Canadian dollars, the aussie climbed to 0.7386 and 0.9669 from yesterday’s closing quotes of 0.7371 and 0.9644, respectively.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 92.80 against the yen, 1.48 against the euro, 0.74 against the greenback and 0.97 against the loonie.
