The Australian dollar recovered from its recent lows against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.
The Australian dollar rose to a 1-week high of 95.99 against the yen and a 5-day high of 0.7779 against the U.S. dollar from recent lows of 95.54 and 0.7742, respectively.
Moving away from a recent low of 1.4555 against the euro, the aussie climbed to 1.4492.
Against the New Zealand and Canadian dollars, the aussie edged up to 1.1101 and 0.9582 from recent lows of 1.1067 and 0.9544, respectively.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 97.50 against the yen, 0.80 against the greenback, 1.40 against the euro, 1.12 against the kiwi and 0.97 against the loonie.
