The Japanese yen weakened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Friday.
The yen fell to 4-day lows of 184.38 against the pound and 92.68 against the Canadian dollar, from yesterday’s closing quotes of 183.70 and 92.41, respectively.
Against the U.S. dollar, the yen dropped to a 2-day low of 119.23 from yesterday’s closing value of 118.87.
The yen edged down to 135.51 against the euro and 125.27 against the Swiss franc, from yesterday’s closing quotes of 135.33 and 125.07, respectively.
If the yen extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 188.00 against the pound, 96.00 against the loonie, 121.00 against the greenback, 138.00 against the euro and 127.00 against the franc.
